You Own Your Thoughts and Notes
Everything you write, sketch, calculate, or record in JJ Notes belongs exclusively to you. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content, and we provide one-click full vault export anytime.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, installing the PWA, or creating an account on JJ Notes ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all terms, please refrain from using the Service.
2. Description of the Service
JJ Notes is a high-performance personal notebook and productivity workspace designed with local-first architecture. Core capabilities include markdown & block editing, spreadsheets, mind mapping, drawing boards, audio dictation & ElevenLabs text-to-speech, task stickies, and optional cloud synchronization and collaboration via Supabase.
3. User Content & Complete Ownership
Full Ownership: You retain all intellectual property rights, copyright, and ownership of all text, images, tables, files, and voice recordings you input into JJ Notes.
No Commercial Exploitation: JJ Notes will never sell, lease, publicize, or feed your notes into public AI training datasets.
Portability: You are entitled to export your entire notebook anytime in universal formats (Markdown, HTML, ZIP) without vendor lock-in.
4. Acceptable Use & Collaborative Workspaces
When utilizing shared projects and collaborative workspaces, you agree not to:
- Upload or distribute malicious code, viruses, or disruptive scripts.
- Engage in harassing, defamatory, or unlawful activities against collaborators.
- Attempt unauthorized penetration testing, vulnerability exploitation, or denial of service attacks against JJ Notes cloud endpoints.
5. Service Availability & Disclaimers
Because JJ Notes stores your notebook locally in your browser's IndexedDB, you have continuous offline access. While we aim for reliable cloud sync operations, the Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
We encourage regular vault backups via the export feature in Settings to safeguard against unexpected hardware failure or accidental browser cache clears.
6. Account Termination & Purge
You may terminate your account at any time. When you select "Delete Account and Cloud Data" in Settings, your cloud profile, authorization credentials, and synced records are immediately and permanently removed from our Supabase database.
